In the wake of the October 7th Hamas attack, 16-year-old Dar returns to her devastated kibbutz, Nir Oz, in search of her missing dog, Shula. As she walks through ruins and meets survivors, Dar navigates her own grief and trauma, as she encounters voices torn between vengeance and forgiveness. Filmed in late October 2023, Of Dogs and Men features performances by actual survivors of the attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz.
